We recognize how important your family and the portraits we create are so precious, so we take particular care in their creation.  Our objective is to create images that you will love for long time so we have a very deliberate creation process to ensure the quality of our results 

Our family portrait services include more than just photography! 

Our approach is to be consultative, to fully explore your options and then create a one of a kind portrait that exceeds your expectations. We begin with a portrait planning session that helps identify your wishes and to plan our photography session. We take the opportunity to learn about you and your family, to discuss your wardrobe and location options and to consider how you want to display your portraits. 

YOUR FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION 

During your portrait session we take the utmost care to utilize all of our lighting and design skills to create a photographic study that is revealing and flattering.  We take our time and conduct very relaxed portrait sittings. We do not operate a high volume cookie cutter production studio, the portraits we produce are unique, deliberately conceived and executed. Photographer Dan Splaine is best known for his photography of people and he brings more than thirty years experience to every portrait sitting. 

FAMILY PORTRAIT LOCATIONS 

TEST of TIME PHOTOGRAPHY can create your family portraits in our studio or on location, in a setting that you chose! During your portrait design consultation meeting we will discuss the type of portraiture you want and whether we will work in the studio or a location. We can look at different examples of family portraits and discuss what is important for you. During this planning session we will help you choose a place that is important to you and is a reflection of your family’s lifestyle. 

For some families their home is the best setting to be photographed.  Indoors architectural features like fireplaces, doorways, staircases and decks make for fine surroundings to have your portraits made. Your backyard and gardens may also provide a great setting also.  

For other families, the great outdoors may be the best location to provide the backdrop to your family portrait. We have an abundance of beautiful locations throughout the region including the ocean, forests and meadows. We can photograph you at your favorite beach or your much loved walking trail through the woods. Remember that we can include your favorite activity in your session. If you ski we can join you on the slopes, if you are boaters we can capture you on the water. 

We have over thirty years experience taking photographs on location in places all over the world so there is no limit to the places we can go to make your family portrait!
