TEST OF TIME PHOTOGRAPHY owner Dan Splaine has more than thirty years experience creating original photography for editorial, marketing and advertising productions. 

Collaborating with ad agencies, art directors and stylists he has photographed thousands of people in locations around the world. He is an expert at making models look their best for our clients! Thousands of his images have been published in magazines, newspapers, books and websites worldwide.

If you are new to modeling or you are looking to update your portfolio we can create the photography that makes you look your best.  We hold our model photography sessions in our studio and  in dramatic locations a throughout New England.

We work with all of our model portfolio clients to create photography that works best for their professional goals.  Your model portfolio and comp cards are your tools for presenting yourself to potential clients and we create original photography that will make you stand out.

We offer a range of model portfolio photography packages to fit every budget and professional objective.  From a basic model- actor headshot photography session to full day long sessions with multiple sets, stylists and locations.  TEST of TIME PHOTOGRAPHY has the facility, equipment and experience to create flattering and creative lighting in our studio and at a location our model selects.

In addition to our skills behind the camera and with lighting we include professional re-touching to give your model portfolios that finished look!  Our post production and photo editing meets the standards of commercial and editorial clients and we use those standards in the photography products we produce for our model portfolio clients.

We produce a wide range of model photography products including:

 WE NEED MODELS!

 Photographer Dan Splaine teaches a program of photography workshops around New England. We hold studio photography workshops to teach lighting and shooting skills to photographers of all skills and abilities. We are looking for models for our studio lighting and glamour photography workshops that are held in our studio and locations around New England.

Depending on the class and these can be both paid and unpaid (TFP) photography opportunities for modeling. If you are interested in modeling for out photo workshops please contact me at model@testoftimephoto.com. Please include information about your experience and links to online photos.

ATTITUDE MATTERS – Models who are reliable, come prepared and who can work well with a group are my ideal candidate. I like working with people who are passionate about their craft and act like professionals. You do not have to have any or much experience as long as you bring a positive attitude to the workshop.

BOOKING YOUR MODEL PORTFOLIO PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

We encourage you to book your photography session two to three weeks in advance of the date for your modeling photography session.  We try to book weeks in advance so we can have the amount of time required for your shoot available.  While model and actor headshot sessions only require one or two hours, most of our model photography packages are full days of photography so please schedule in advance.

We work by appointment only and we offer night and weekend appointments.  We work with our models to find a time for their photography session that best fits there schedule or matches ideal lighting conditions for our location photo shoots.

PLANNING YOUR MODEL PORTFOLIO PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

One of the advantages for booking your photography session a few weeks in advance is that we have more time to plan for your studio experience.  We offer phone consultations for all of clients to discuss lighting styles, wardrobe options, make-up and the types of photographs that you want to make for your portfolio. 

We review your experience and goals to develop a plan to create a portfolio that shows you at your best. Do you want to work as a commercial model or are you looking for a more glamorous style?  We can customize the look of you photos with lighting and wardrobe for lifestyle, fitness, runway, and figure model portfolios.

We can review your options for the studio shoot or locations out of the studio for your photography.  Our studio is located on the bank of a river in the heart of an old industrial mill complex.  We have many options for photo sets in our building and around our studio.  There is no limit to how creative we can get with your photography.
