Photographer Dan Splaine is a working professional photographer and in his digital photography education program he generously shares his photographic knowledge aquired over 30 years.

Test of Time Photography and photographer Dan Splaine present a full program of digital photography workshops for adult photographers of all skill levels. The digital photography classes and workshops range from topic specific sessions to mufti-day workshops held in international locations. We conduct digital photography classes in our Nashua, New Hampshire studio and in locations around New England.

Our approach to photography education is all about skill building. The measure of a photographer’s ability is the capability to make a good image in any shooting conditions. Our workshops emphasize the image making process and move our photography students beyond simply taking pictures.

Photography is one of the greatest modes of personal expression ever and our program of digital photo classes, field photography workshops and hands on sessions are all about personal creative expression. We expand your photographic knowledge and build the skills that give photographers creative control over their results. That creative control allows you to make the photographs you imagine!

Digital cameras and computer based photo creation is complex and can be frustrating for learning photographers. The digital camera is an amazing tool for creativity and our workshops teach you how to control the device. Once you learn the tools you can then get creative control to make the images you see in your mind’s eye.

Test of Time Photography present a series of DIGITAL PHOTO BOOT CAMPS for photographers who want to ramp up their photography skills quickly.  This program features intense one day sessions (7 hours) on a variety of digital photography techniques, skills and topics.  For more information and the workshop schedule click here.

Test of Time Photography also holds a regular Print Review and Photo Critique sessions for  our workshop participants.

These events feature great conversation and constructive analysis of our student’s photographs. After attending a workshop and go out and practice the skills you learned how do you know if your photography has improved?

Learn photographer skills in one of our digital photography workshops, practice them and then come to a critique session to get some great feedback on your efforts. Having an open conversation about your images with a friendly group is one of the greatest learning tools we provide and all of our workshop attendees are welcome to attend.
