STEAM on SNOW
PHOTOGRAPHER TOUR
January 7, 2012
This is a truly
unique photography excursion!
Join us for a day travel and photography on a steam powered train operated by
the Conway Scenic Railroad in the winter landscape of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. The STEAM and SNOW
PHOTOGRAPHY TRIP
is for photographer and railroad enthusiasts alike.

The package deal we are offering includes bus
transportation, photography instruction and coaching, lunch and tickets for the 4 hour train ride. We will be
riding on the Conway Scenic’s 0-6-0 steam engine 7470 built by the Grand Trunk Railroad in
1921! The train will be making a series of photo stops during the route through the White
Mountains for photography of the historic train and the winter scenery. The combination of steam and
snow will provide the chance for some dramatic image making.
During our bus ride north we will conduct a mini
photography workshop presented by photographer Dan Splaine about shooting landscapes and the techniques of
winter photography. Before our departure on the train ride we will have time to photograph the rail yard and
station.
This tour was organized with the able assistance of
our business partner NH TOURS.
This workshop is sold out!
